Pickled Onions

Recently I’ve been obsessed with anything pickled. These pickled onions are incredibly easy to make and are ready in less than two hours! The perfect topping and ingredient for salads, sandwiches, wraps, and toast!

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Red Onion - Thinly Sliced

  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1/4 Cup White Vinegar

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1 TSP Sugar

  • 1 1/2 TSP Salt

Directions:

  1. Thinly slice onion and pack into mason jar

  2. Heat water to a boil, add vinegars, sugar, and salt

  3. Pour hot water mixture over onions, covering them completely

  4. Close lid and shake

  5. Let onions sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours

*You can keep these in the fridge up to two weeks!
